A wedding above Sintra, Portugal: a long lunch with everyone they love, then a dance floor that didn’t stop.
They wanted a day that felt like a long lunch with everyone they love, and then a dance floor that didn’t stop. Eighty guests, a garden above the town, and a ceremony their friends still call “twenty minutes of happy crying”.
We arrived for the slow morning: coffee, ironing, a borrowed tie and a lot of laughing at the borrowed tie. Serg stayed close to the two of them, Alex followed the guests and the details, and Lara recorded the vows and every speech.
We gave a few prompts at golden hour, ten minutes away from the party. Everything else simply happened, and we kept it.

We don’t remember posing once, and somehow there are portraits of us we’ll frame forever. It all looks exactly like the day felt.
